Room clearance calculators
Calculate treadmill ceiling height, barbell room width and pull-up floor and overhead margins from your own measurements. See the assumptions before buying.

Treadmill ceiling-height calculator
Required ceiling = user height + the exact manufacturer’s total allowance. Do not add deck height again to a total allowance. Confirm how the model’s rule applies to incline and any separate user-height limit.
Required inputs: Lowest usable ceiling height; Tallest user’s height; Manufacturer’s total user-to-ceiling allowance.
Barbell room-width calculator
Required width = full bar length + your selected left and right access. End access is your planning input, not a universal minimum. Check plate loading, collars, spotting and movement separately.
Required inputs: Clear room width across the bar; Full bar length, including sleeves; Required access at the left end; Required access at the right end.
Pull-up bar clearance calculator
Overhead requirement = bar height + measured movement above the bar + reserve. Floor gap = bar height − floor-to-grip length. Lowering the bar reduces floor gap. Measure your intended body position without testing against a low ceiling; installation and dynamic movements require separate assessment.
Required inputs: Lowest usable ceiling height; Bar height above finished floor; Floor-to-grip length in the intended hanging position; Measured movement above the bar; Additional overhead reserve.
Planning arithmetic only. These checks do not certify exercise clearance or installation safety.
